Kayla Hill, Esq.

Founder

Kayla Hill, Esq. is a creative executive, attorney, producer, writer, educator, and founder of Karnelian Luminare. She is dedicated to strengthening the creative economy by helping artists, entrepreneurs, and cultural organizations build sustainable careers, organizations, and creative enterprises.

Through Karnelian Luminare, Kayla combines creative leadership, operational strategy, legal knowledge, and educational programming to help creatives transform ideas into sustainable businesses and impactful artistic work. Her experience spans theatre, film, television, live events, entrepreneurship, nonprofit leadership, higher education, legal services, and organizational development, where she has built programs, led productions, advised founders, developed operational systems, and guided projects from concept to execution.

A graduate of Purdue University, Kayla holds a Bachelor of Arts in Film & Video Studies, a Juris Doctor and Intellectual Property Certificate from the Indiana University Robert H. McKinney School of Law, and a Master of Science in Cybersecurity Risk Management from Indiana University Bloomington.

Kayla believes creative professionals deserve more than opportunities—they deserve ownership, infrastructure, and the knowledge to build careers that generate lasting value. Her vision for Karnelian Luminare extends beyond individual projects to building educational initiatives, creative productions, collaborative communities, and global opportunities that empower creatives to create, own, produce, and preserve their work for generations to to come.

Whether serving as a creative strategist, producer, operations advisor, educator, or legal counsel, Kayla's mission remains the same: to help creatives illuminate their potential, strengthen their businesses, and build legacies that extend far beyond the stage, screen, or page.

Operations Lead

Hadassah Eley, PMP

Hadassah Eley, PMP serves as Operations Lead for Karnelian Luminare, bringing more than 18 years of experience in operational excellence, strategic planning, and organizational transformation. With a background spanning the pharmaceutical, manufacturing, and service industries, she helps clients build efficient systems, streamline processes, and implement strategies that support sustainable growth. Hadassah is recognized for her ability to solve complex challenges through collaboration, continuous improvement, and thoughtful leadership. Her passion lies in creating environments where people and organizations can thrive through clarity, efficiency, and innovation.

At Karnelian Luminare, she ensures that bold creative visions are supported by strong operational foundations, allowing clients to focus on making their greatest impact.

Creative Writer & Production Associate

Brandi Metzger

Brandi Metzger is a creative writer, playwright, poet, and production professional whose work explores the experiences of Black women and girls through the lens of magical realism. A graduate of Oberlin College with a Bachelor of Arts in Creative Writing, she has developed original screenplays, stage plays, poetry, and fiction while building a diverse portfolio across theater, film, journalism, and live productions. Brandi's work has been featured through organizations including District Theatre, the Arts Council of Indianapolis, and the Black Light Training & Development Program, and she is a recipient of the 2025 Creative Renewal Arts Fellowship.

Through Karnleina Luminare, Brandi combines thoughtful storytelling, creative strategy, and production expertise to help bring compelling artistic visions to life.
